Not entirely surprised.
A lot of businessmen looking to make a quick dollar from gullible kids who will latch on to every word said by these Youtube celebrities. Said Youtube celebrities don't actually give a fuck about the audience they have and will fleece them for all they're worth, 90% of the time.
I'm looking forward to Jim Sterling's responce to this.

PewDiePie doesn't do reviews.....
Also just checked PewDiePie's only shadows of mordor video from september 2014, says right their in the description.
"This video was sponsored by Warner Brother"
This is a shame. Regardless of whether or not you liked his content, there was no reason to question his integrity until now.

I am outraged, This is terrible, stop the madness and bla bla bla.
Just want to know from what and who is on your sig?
It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.
That's old news, even Totalbiscuit and Jim sterling made a video about this in 2014.
Either way if people didn't know back then that these things happen they should know by now
Jim Sterling:

Is this really much differnt from advertisement?
Its not like these youtube reviewers are actual reviewers that work for a site doing it.
Pewdiepie isnt a reviewer.
Hes a "lets play" guy.... and he spoke well of a game? for a bag of money.... Im not surprised.

Word of Mouth from an influencer is more stronger than any form of review. Pewdiepie is a key influencer, so are lots of lets players. Imagine Ellen endoursing a book, usually that means the book sales sky rocket.

Paid sponsorship is not the issue. The issue here is that Warner bro. asked these youtubers to not disclose their deal and the bloody idiots that agreed to that deal.

Ugh, YouTube really is the wild west. Shame on Warner Bros. (and all the other companies that do this) and shame on YouTubers for taking advantage of their loyal audiences.
