I always play wii u games with my gamepad plugged into an outet, so usually wired, but its cool I can take it with me if I got to take a dump, so both.

Always Wireless, now I am used to play this way and play with a wired controller makes me feel like I have a block, a limitation of freedom. With a wireless one i can play the way I want, get up, lie down, not to worry. I can play away from the TV without bothering to drag the console. The battery is not a problem, since the system will alert an hour before being discharged, so there's plenty of time to finish something and change controller, or put it undercharge.
Connected is superior for playing due to lower lag time but wireless is just way more convenient.
When I'm streaming anime or my shows on netflix, I go with the wired controller to let it charge. When I'm gaming, I'll use wireless if I think of it.

Really? On what console? PS4 gives you a low battery warning with a bout an hour to spare xD.
I always play wireless, play connected for 30 mins if my battery is low and then when I unplug it's at max battery again.
Wireless, unless I'm playing a super competitive game, then wired.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
