Forums - General - Least favorite social media platform

Twitter. Sure Facebook has a lot of people wasting time sharing pointless stuff but at least it's got a sense of real friendship. But Twitter is basically The Mob Mentality Site. The combination of hashtag use and the absurdly limited amount of text means that the number of useful, intelligent comments on Twitter is extremely limited, leaving most of the site to be overrun by loud and thoughtless support for or backing of random hashtags. At best, it's vapid and empty sound. At worst, you have enormous controversial messes as mobs gather around hashtags to shout at and harass each other.

Facebook due to how obsessive some people can be with using it. Instagram a close second. I mean I'll use those sites occasionally to creep on someone or look up something, but when you're out for coffee or lunch with someone and they're just staring and scrolling through those its like oh my god :O :O :O

at least with like Twitter (not that I use it) people are limited on how much they can say in one post so I feel like it prevents some people from being quite so obsessive. could be wrong about that though, maybe people just make up for it in the quantity of posts haha

Out of the 8 that the OP listed, Facebook, is the only one that i use, so i guess the other 7 are my least favorite,

The only social media platform I like is Twitter because it's the best way to keep up on news. The rest of it can rot in hell where it belongs lol

Facebook. Full of clickbait and nonsense. If I want information: Twitter. If I want to interact with friends: snapchat/messenger

From the ones I use, definitely Facebook. I only keep mine so I don't have to hear that "Wait, you don't have Facebook?" phrase all the time. I think the website is too cluttered, unpractical, and to top it all off, people only use it to post boring memes and motivational quotes with totally unrelated images (90% of the time it's freaking Minions).

Now, speaking about social media platforms I don't use, I don't see the point in using Tumblr, and I really hate Snapchat and Vine, I've never seen something good coming out of those =P
