in an absolute dominant individual fashion.
Messi is a system player, Ronaldo is an individual that can drag any team with him.

Almost thought this was a serious topic.

Ronaldo dragged MU to a championship. He then dragged RM to a championship and now the canon fodder team of portugal are champions. Messi could only do it with a single team built around him

I know we can't really comment on console bias on this site but can we make a comment about obvious football bias without getting banned? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Ronaldo didn't play in the final. Did you miss that part?

He dragged them there and his leadership was what inspired his team to be able to pull out the win at the end.

Messi dragged his team to 4 finals though?

One game (he didn't even play) doesn't decide who is better.

They are the highest ranked football team because Messi plays for them and they win a lot.

No, theyre the highest ranked because theyre absolutely loaded with big name players. They have more offensive superstars loaded on that team than any other national team. Yet they still cant win an internation torunament, which Ronaldo just did with a team of no names.

Yeah but his MAGICAL AURA didn't rub off on his team making them win, unlike OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR RONALDO.

Portugal just won the final without Ronaldo, clearly Portugal's team isn't just "Ronaldo & Co."

Ronaldo may be better than Messi, but this match had nothing to do with it.

Yeah and then choked them all. Look at any NBA discussion comparing Lebron james to michael jordan - it's worse to lose in the finals than it is to lose before. Once you are in the finals you need to be clutch and put it away. choking in the finals shows mental fragility and is the worst a superstar player can do.

So glad a lot of you don't agree with this nonsense

Aren't you winning by default if you're not a convicted felon?
