Because you don't count Xenoblade, then: 1.Fire Eblem, 2.Golden Sun, 3.Earthbound

Fire Emblem. Everything else is so shallow and lacking in deep mechanics by comparison. FE's narratives are also vastly superior to just about everything but Earthbound.

Pokemon by a country mile for me.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
I'm gonna have to say pokemon due to consistant quality. It always feels like an amazing journey by the end.
Fire emblem is more erratic and theres hits and misses.
Xenoblade is too short a series yet and Golden sun has that weird third game.
1st.- Xenoblade and Monster Hunter
2nd.- Pokemon and Fire Emblem.
3rd.- The rest
Mario & Luigi is good and about the only one to challenge the best RPG.
Fire Emblem... doesn't really count.
Pokemon has grown far too monotonos to be the best.
lol Paper Mario
Earthbound and Advance Wars don't exist anymore so it's hard to count them as contenders.
No contest. Xenoblade.
