Super Mario RPG had only one game, so... Xenoblade, I think.

Would love to see this games on nintendo HD consoles.
Either Fire Emblem or Pokemon, a lot of people will say Xenoblade but the are only 2 games so far in the series, individually they're the best rpgs but as a franchise it's between Fire Emblem and Pokemon as they've been consistent for 2 decades.
Xenoblade for me, even though XCX was somewhat of a disappointment.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Yeah, I wanted to focus only on series that have at least 3 games under their belt. Something isn't really a "franchise" until it has at least 3 games. That's just my opinion, but feel free to post Xenoblade anyway if you want!

Thanks!
To be fair, Fire Emblem and Advance Wars are SRPGS. So I won't count those, for me as a traditional RPG, I'd go with Pokemon. As much as I love Earthbound and Xenoblade, Pokemon is just pure fun that I find hard to get bored of.
