That and the reason Kimishima was picked for President is because of his support for Iwata's grand vision for Nintendo.

Miyamoto and Takeda didn't want someone who would rock the boat...they wanted stability.

Now when the NX fails (which I believe is more likely then a success unfortunately), that's when Kimishima will start thinking about switching the company over to third-party. But I believe that Kimishima wholeheartedly wants the NX to succeed...he's had his hand in developing it and shaping it and like any company president he's rooting for it.

Believing he's the mastermind in a grand conspiracy to usurp Nintendo's leadership is just a bit too out there for my tastes.
