it was only last month NX was going to be as powerful as the ps4...
So around 4TFLOPS, but "not cutting edge tech"...that would mean 28nm.
M9 M395X is 2048:128:32 mobile 28nm GPU pulling 3.7TFLOPS with TDP of 125W (desktop version is 380X with ~4TFLOPS and 190W) and I don't think AMD can go much lower with TDP on 28nm for similar specs.
Somehow I find this rumour hard to believe, if it's around 4TFLOPS it's more likely to be 14nm, or it's not anywhere near 4TLFOPS.
This is Nintendo... yeah cant see it myself. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
NX could be as powerful as the rumoured Neo specs because of the ability to use new technologies in it compared to the Neo which will likely be limited to "evolutions" of the current PS4 hardware, but we don't even know if the rumoured Neo specs are legit so I'm not believing this rumour. A September reveal seems likely though.
I don't believe this like many others here, too. What I find amusing is the thought of what would happen IF it was true. When NX and Scorpio are at least as powerful ore better than the PS4Neo, PS fanboys would lose their only reason to brag around and diss the others. Their console would suddenly be the weakest of the bunch. Wow, those sure would be hard times for them.
EDIT: Oh, and the SS remaster would be pretty easy to make if the NX simply supports Wiimotes. I don't think that would be all that hard to implement. It doesn't need to be mandatory for all games, but only for some selected ones. Just an alternative control option like the Wii U has them many.

Nintendo has outsourced all their recent remasters, they wouldn't be loosing any man power to a SKyward Sword HD and it doesn't have to be a launch alongside Breath of FIre, it could launch later in the year. |
Skyward Sword is a different remake than Twilight Princess (Wind Waker HD was made by Nintendo themselves if I'm not mistaken). The original game was designed around the Wiimote Plus, but the remake would have to use whatever controller the NX has, which would mean a complete redesign of the gameplay mechanics (remember that the game forced us to not only slash horizontally, but also vertically or in diagonal, something very hard to to with a regular controller unless you use the cameera/right stick to that task).
I doubt Nintendo will outsource the remake of Skyward Sword, or at least not without a small (but important) team supervising the project 24/7.
Please excuse my bad English.

This could be a response to Microsoft who is claiming that their console will be the most powerful console when it launches. This was an attack on Neo and NX.

Maybe they'll make it work with analog controls instead.
