Forums - Gaming - Xbox Scorpio wont do 4K 60fps, even 30 at ULTRA only at LOW settings.

Why is there so much fear around.

The downplaying on the internet and here is incredible.

Relax.

Writing something off without knowing anywhere near enough about it is pathetic and very telling.

This isn't just an anti ms thing though if you're thinking that, a load of people have written off the NX for almost a year now.... knowing just 2 letters about the console, I think there is at least more to judge about the Scorpio system! Just about, of course it's so far away right now everything about it is subject to change before its launch.

Woow looks like Xbox Scorpio getting lots of attention from people and they trying to be negative about it :)

So you don't think people should be negative about it - if it can't do what is promised?

How do you know it can't do it ? Do u know final spec of Scorpio ? Have you worked on it ?

Probably they'll count on 4k resolution exactly to be able to use low settings for AA and graphics FX and still get crisper graphics than 1080p, but yes, ultra settings @60fps would require GPUS that even dropping in price wouldn't be viable due to power consumption too high for consoles. This at least for this gen, 9th gen VR and 4k will most probably become mainstream, and 8.5th gen consoles must be thanked for this, not just for pioneering the tech and starting cost reduction thanks to the first mid/large-scale production, but also because they allow 8th gen to last longer overall, so that by the time 9th gen starts, CPUs, GPUs, APUs and RAM will have far higher performances and lower costs and power consumption than now.

Judge the console when it comes out and developers have optimised games for the platform.
