Your first post didnt ignite the chain of replies that end up in that bet. So your first post is completely irrelevant in this discussion as no one answered to that, the conversation started when you asked to someone if she really thought this was gonna do well.

Are you training to be a politician or something? Damn those spins.

Completely relevant since I said that this does not mean anything to sales. Which is exactly what we've been talking about. In the same way that CoD being the most disliked game on Youtube won't stop it from selling over 10m.

So, what's the bet anyway? That Zelda WiiU won't outsell FIFA17?

Lmfao, you are working so hard to make that nobody takes you seriously. You are close to success I have to say.

Not my problem if people want to believe that Zelda WiiU is going to be the best selling game showed at this E3.

Problem is absolutely nobody said that except of you, the king of spins.

So, what's the point of this graph then?

The point of this graph is to show that this game was the one that got most buzz from social media. Wich is true and the title of the OP alrewady says everything, it does not need any explanaation, if GoW was on the top you wodn't be asking about the sense of the post, you are really bothered for all this hype your hated company has created.

Ok enough everyone. This is only going to lead in someone cursing another and getting banned. So lets try to articulate the ideas.

From what I gather reading the comments, here is my opinion on this:

Zelda was the most beloved game in the conference, by most people. There is no denying that, since this is what this data proves. What you can read into this, is that Zelda not only managed to grab attention from its fans, but also from other fanbases, be it on a positive or negative light. Not only this is free marketing for Nintendo, which might translate into sales, but it also means that more people might accompany the game until it releases(or be ineterested to buy the game when it releases),compared to what attention and buzz Zelda normally brings. This is what many users are meaning with "It may end up selling better than what Zelda ends up selling(which is around 5 million units)".

Now, to the other side of the argument, it is quite obvious that this data is not the "end all" argument. That is just a metric to gauge people general interest on the game. And that interest can obviosly change over time until the game releases, due to gameplay features that can be revealed and people not liking it, reviews that dont paint a good picture of the game, and so on.Not only that, while E3 is a gigantic event and millions of people watch E3, there is also a good portion of the audience(people that buy consoles and games) that dont watch it, and so wont leave its opinion on the events on twitter, facebook, etc.Plus the ones that watch it and use the social medias to comment on it are more hardcore gamers, and we dont represent completely the market, adding more to the argument that this data dosent mean that Zelda will outsell them all.And finally, we also have the casual gamers. Those gamers are the ones that just buy whats popular and considered cool at the time.Games like COD and FIFa.Thats the other reason why Zelda will (most likely) will never outsell the likes of these games.

So thats how you have a discussion people.Do try to make arguments over "No you are wrong because of reasons!!!".And this goes for both sides.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Actually, Zelda was the most talked about on Twitter (Facebook is a different story). Whether it was the most beloved game of E3 is not known.

As for your point about gauging people's interest in the game, it's a poor metric obviously, based on the ranking of those games.

Nobody said this is determined by order of sales. Only you. Otherwise we see Pokemon in this list. Again your basically saying we all think zelda going to outsell everything.  Only you think this (or should i say believe we think this)

And why would it be a bad metric?I mean, as seen in numerous videos and peoples accounts, the line to play Zelda at E3 was gigantic, sometimes it took a day to play the game, and it had Nintendo whole booth just dedicated to it.And IGN already said its game of the E3 for them. Not aware if it is by other sites. So it obviosly gathered attention, and the data all but points in that way.So why would it be a bad metric?Do you have some evidence that points otherwise?

It kinda is known. Ign/gaf/etc are actually saying it is (note im talking single game wise not nintendo as a whole)
