If you convinced her recently, you weren't just wrong but also an idiot. You don't buy new hardware this close to E3 with so many rumors around about new hardware. With Xbox One S coming soon, any Xbox One purchase until its release is practically a mistake unless you're really desperate to play Xbox One games.

If it's been some time already, it's OK. You were wrong, but it's her fault for falling for it. Unless of course you implied you had knowledge about how many games would be coming over to PC, in which case you lied, which is obviously bad.

When they move the entire infrastructure with all games to PC, I will move there to. Most important ro me is that I can game with my friends who mainly have consoles and have MS games, then I don't really care on what hardware I play :).

I think you're overthinking this. I Was convincing her last year that the Xbox one had games worth having since the Xbox one and PC initiative wasn't in full swing. She liked scalebound and a couple of other games. Microsofts was only alluding to the low tier games at that point (fable legends, dead rising 3 and some other games). This e3 completely changed the game and caught us all by surprise.

Subversive yet not sure I don't believe you're full of shit

I'm overthinking everything, and it doesn't even take much effort. See, my answer already covers your case. :P Basically her fault for falling for this. Too bad for her, but it was reasonable of you to convince her.

Subversive? She's like a sister to me. I wouldn't try to screw her over.

It's gonna be so good to play Scalebound, Recore, Forza Horison 3, Halo Wars 2 and Halo 5 on PC with better graphics and save the money from not buying an XBox.

MS cant wait to take your money.

Its a win win. I dont understand how this is bad for anyone, consumer or manufacturer.  Its very pro consumer. It gives choices and makes games availbale to as many people as possible.

"If you have a powerful PC... here, buy our game"

"If you dont want to go that route, here buy our console and game"

Only on gaming forums do people think they score some kind of fuck-you victory over a manufacturer by giving them money.

Its hilarious.

She already had a pc and a ps4 but we all thought Microsoft was going to keep most of the major titles exclusive. When she bought it only dead rising 3 and fable legends were announced for the initiative.
