If you convinced her recently, you weren't just wrong but also an idiot. You don't buy new hardware this close to E3 with so many rumors around about new hardware. With Xbox One S coming soon, any Xbox One purchase until its release is practically a mistake unless you're really desperate to play Xbox One games.

If it's been some time already, it's OK. You were wrong, but it's her fault for falling for it. Unless of course you implied you had knowledge about how many games would be coming over to PC, in which case you lied, which is obviously bad.

I think you're overthinking this. I Was convincing her last year that the Xbox one had games worth having since the Xbox one and PC initiative wasn't in full swing. She liked scalebound and a couple of other games. Microsofts was only alluding to the low tier games at that point (fable legends, dead rising 3 and some other games). This e3 completely changed the game and caught us all by surprise.

I'm overthinking everything, and it doesn't even take much effort. See, my answer already covers your case. :P Basically her fault for falling for this. Too bad for her, but it was reasonable of you to convince her.
