No chance.
Sony will already have VR for PS4 and PS4K. PS4K may be weaker (a question) but it will be cheaper. Price has always been a big factor in determining market leader. The XBox One S isn't going anywhere after Scorpio launches. Same with standard PS4 (as Sony has already confirmed). Lastly, Scorpio was said to be part of the XOne family.

They hade their chance, if they hade stuck to a 4 year cycle and introduced a new system in 2009 they might have been the dominant force in the industry ĺtoday.
Nope, I don't see PS4 dropping off because of Scorpio, and if consumer need more gas they can pick PS4Neo which will probably cost a lot less than Scorpio and will release earlier... even more when all X1 games are going to PC.
