It seems it will at least be 500 dollars, but I see it being more expensive, if they keep the specs as the leaks says.

This ... MS will get a bulk deal probably closer to $100 for the gpu part .  The Slim should be $250 by next yr while Scorpio will be $500 at the most .

Who cares about the price of GTX 980? The console is obviously going to be a 8 core Zen + Polaris 10 APU. In a year MS could go as low as $399 if they wanted to and it wouldn't be a big deal for them.
