prediction.. the Wii will sell OVER 1 million units per week from black friday until the Week before Cmas. that is 3 or 4 weeks in a row. it will be over 700k all of november and 500k in october....



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

The only reason Wii>PS3+360 this week, is because of a large shipment of Wii's to NA. Do you really think that if Nintendo shipped enough Wii's, it would sell 170K every week in NA? That is what it would need to sell for Wii>PS3+360.

@Tombi, that is plain cherrypicking (read Fishyjoes sig for that). Fact are facts, the Wii outsells the competition by more than 2:1 in Japan, USA and 1,5:1 in Europe.

And what better proof that people want Wii if not the fact that every time there is a shipment people stare at vgc numbers and say "wow wii". Not to mention that i still hear people and companies talking about Wii shortages in the US. So what's your point?

PRice cut on 360 is coming...why buy now, and have to worry about msising by 1 day. MS needs to just cut the prices and get it over with, instead of delaying it...i'm waiting on the cut to buy it for my nephews.

 Sour grapes about what? I own a Wii and support Nintendo. The only weeks that Wii>PS3+360 is when there is a huge shipment of Wii's. But you conveniently ignored that fact while saying it didn't have a price cut.
