Maybe say nothing at all? The developers who have commented don't have any responsibility to do so. (And quite frankly, they didn't say anything about their games. They just called out the comments.) They commented clearly and strongly, which is worse if they are lying. So there's little reason to suggest they are lying. What have you seen? Have you looked into Rigs? Summer Lesson? We know what to expect with visual fidelity, frame rate, and resolution. |
Didn't say or imply they are lying, it's just opinions. Would you trust what Phil Spencer says about an Xbone game as fact? I doubt it. Nor should you. But again, you're not going to prove anyone right or wrong here. Even when the hardware is out there are going to be people who think it's awful and you're going to have people who think it's amazing.
Regarding those two games, I have seen Rigs. It looked ok I guess in the trailer, but actual gameplay has been nothing like the trailer, it's been incredibly slow, plodding, boring looking imho. Summer Lesson... lol. No thanks.
If PSVR was truly "fine" on the PS4 then Sony wouldn't be making a PS4K. That's not to imply or say you cannot still play PSVR on the regular PS4 and enjoy it. But a premium model is coming because Sony obviously sees a problem. This is just one guys opinion on how PSVR operates on the PS4. It doesn't make it fact, nor does it mean you can't enjoy it. Lots of people shit on the Xbone's graphics yet I enjoy gaming on it just fine.
Also, as with every hardware launch, we're not going to know what to really expect until the stuff is actually released at retail and we can play it :) Just look at the Rigs trailer vs actual gameplay. Anyways, so many posts in this thread complaining that people are actually having a discussion. I wonder why the thread was made in the first place? I'll close the door behind me.
