There's not that many people to trust nowadays. I only trust developers who release solid games consistently, like Naughty Dog or Rocksteady. I can count with one hand the reviewers I trust, and even with that, I try not to follow their opinions as close, as I feel it might subtly change my view of the game.
Only dev I can say I fully trust is CDPR. Maybe if I take some more time to think about the question I'll come up with a few more.
Nintendo on their major titles, CD Projekt Red and to a certain extent, Blizzard. Valve would be on that list but they don't even make many games anymore...

I don't trust people I don't know, and I don't know anyone in the industry.
Also, I don't know how anyone can trust a business. They look out for their business interests first (as they should). I mean, Animal Crossing Festival exists as a lesson for us all.
