But it's only 1080P. - Would look better on PC without question.
Thankfully one day it will be on PC.

Star Citizen is technically superior, especially across multiple displays, Uncharted is small in scope in comparison.

Given how it looks on PS4, it means it's been heavily optimized... Which means they'd likely have to remake many parts of the game to put it on PC.

Which, by the way, they're not doing. Ever. Like, even suggesting that they would implies a degree of ignorance of Sony's practices involving their first party games.

Ask me next year when I buy the GOTY edition.

Also dont really care about graphics when buying games on PC. Main reason why I buy games on PC is because its cheaper than buying a game physically on a console and guarantees b/c for future upgrades.

thats not true they will stop working one day on your new PC espacially dueto a new iteration of windows

As a primarily PC gamer, I didn't see an option in the poll for what I feel, so I'll briefly summarize here :

The attention to overall detail, and production quality are absolutely outstanding. From sound to voice acting to motion capture to the level design is beyond stellar.

In pure graphical detail/performance, I'd have to say it's a little bit of a mixed bag. Obviously with a performance ceiling in place, even with the extreme wizardry of Naughty Dog on tap, you're going to see areas where PC games can/do look better in specific areas. Framerate is a big one, and you could go through the game and find spots here and there where they couldn't have extremely high detail textures in order to keep performance working smoothly. There are more than a few assets that look pretty average. But that shouldn't take away from the achievement whatsoever. It's a showcase game, and in totality has got to be considered with the best of the best in terms of a total experience. In my mind, the closest analog we can play on PC is TR 2015, and even running that in 4K at a better framerate it's still a 'lesser' game to me. The motion cap and world design of UC4 is just better.

I feel like I haven't answered that well enough, but there you have it. I couldn't possibly have more respect for ND as a dev. I could only imagine how good a proper PC port would look, but obviously that's impossible, so we can only marvel at what they were able to accomplish on such meager specs.

Its funny because if you ask people who can identify what is actually happening on screen in technical terms, they all say that Uncharted 4 is the most technically accomplished game of all time. Lets not conflate hardware tech with graphic tech. If we are talking about the latter, then yes without question Uncharted is the best game of all time from a pure technical standpoint. And if we want to talk detail, Uncharted is overwhelming. Lucy O'Brien said that the level of detail boarders the obscene and this is true. This alone adds to the overall presentation. You could ask what good is hifi graphics without detail.

Also people needs to understand that U4's attention to detail is due to game having small enviroments (except for Madagascar and 2 or 3 chapters in the whole campaign) when compared to games like GTA V or The Witcher 3.

Wow Nate's clock moves real time, and Nate talks to Sully that is so amazing! But then games like The Witcher 3 which has a world a 100 times bigger than any of Uncahrted's levels and so many things, quests and dialogues no one is impressed (?) (well luckily a lot of people got impressed and the game is the one with the most goty prizes of all time) but for real people needs to think a little on what other games offer before being impressed about a clock that moves on Nate's wrist... Although many just say it is so incredible because it's a Naughty Dog game and they are fanboys of the PS brand.

User was warned for this post ~ CGI

And yet Witcher 3 manages to perform quite bad on consoles with pop ins and frate rate drops.

Call me again when you want to compare games on PC that have been properly optimized on consoles.

Honestly I hate the console's specs for this generation. To undermine UC4 and call people fanboys just because they found this impressive is another arrogant mindset of PC gamers. Give credit to where it's due.

I give it credit, it looks very nice for being run by low end hardware like the ps4, but i simply wasn't that impressed by its graphics because i've seen better. And people who claims it's the best looking game to date clearly haven't seen some top notch games running on a high end PC, that's all.

I agree with you 100%. Wanna know what else is funny too? Some people want to compare Uncharted 4, with an MMO.. Yeah.

As if it's only PC gamers who clicked "has exceeded all games before it".

Honestly, I'm not impressed by Uncharted 4 graphics at all. I'm very underwhelmed unlike last gen, when Uncharted really was impressive even compared to the best PC graphics. This is not because I despise Uncharted as a game formula. For the record, I didn't understand what all the fuzz was about when it came to Quantum Break either.

I think Ryse, Dark Souls 3 and Assassin's Creed Syndicate all look better than Uncharted 4 on console. But of course they look even better on PC.

I'm sorry, but no way. I agree that Uncharted 4 isn't the best that I've seen (meaning, I'm including PC games), but it beats all of those titles in nearly every area.

I know tecnically they obviously are a bit behind Uncharted. All logic says that. But I just can't see it in the videos. Uncharted 4 to me looks like it's made on a PS 3.5. I really don't understand why people are wild about the graphics. I was surprised from the very first video. And then came that scene with the car chase, again not impressive.

Or, perhaps it's that I'm subconsciously whenever I'm seeing a Dark Souls 3 or Syndicate video on Youtube from the console versions, I'm subconsciously translating what I see into my PC version that I'm running at home on the highest settings (non-Youtube compressed on top of it all) and then I'm comparing Uncharted 4 to that.

Depends what you mean with graphics. Artistically it's amazing and easily better than anything on PC. But as I said before, you can put the Mona Lisa in a slide show but it will still be a slide show.
Gaming on a PC is not just about having the prettiest pictures. It's about not having to make compromises or at least having a choice. The fact that so many talented game developers are bound to just one platform is bad for everyone.

Yes Uncharted is very pretty and it runs amazing on the hardware it's given but that is no testament to the hardware it's on but to some very talented people who are sadly bound to this hardware, making a lot of gamers sad.

Cant agree with you here. Nothing indicates that if the devs had better hardware or where able to go multyplat they would put more effort into detail. Its actually on the contrary like its been said before. Devs will focus on the lowest comon denominator to make sure everyone can play it and optimize sales. So if naughty dog where ever to go multy plat, you would get the same game on pc, but you will be able to up the res and frame rate only. If anything it will look worse cuz the lowest denominator would be the x1, so the level of detail will need to be caped at what the x1 can handle.

This is prooven with games like RotTR and starwars batlefront and quantum brake. Thouse games look great at the lowest level, the x1. It shows ammazing detail, specially battlefront for me. But thouse games dont get much more impresive by playing them in 4k or 120fps, because the details make the game beutifull so even on the x1 they are good and devs will optimize for it cuz its the smart choice.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Its very impressive. Id love to see these assets at native 2/4k.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
