So? The 360 controller has the same amount of buttons as the XB1 controller, but you cant use the 360 controller on the XB1?

you dont need the Xbox 360 controller to play Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One

No, because the 360 controller is not supported. Just like the VC games from the wii shop doesnt support the WiiU controllers. Its not about what buttons they have. Its the fact that Nintendo hasnt made the WiiU controllers compatible with wii VC games.

Wii VC games running on Wii U,

MS made the Xbox 360 games compatible on Xbox One with a Xbox One controller

They did. Good job MS. Nintendo did not do that.

My biggest disappointment was the realization that they had all but given up on Wii U by E3 2015.

No proper Mario, Zelda or Metroid is a pretty bad Nintendo console. It has Bayonetta 2 and Mario Kart 8, but apart from that not much to really call its own.

Seriously I just need Animal Crossing! But if it comes in the First year or even the Launch Lineup of the NX then I'll be happy.

And I guess online Multiplayer. I want Nintendo to embrace the fun of Online Multiplayer within their games especially the Party ones.

Pocky Lover Boy!

That there's not going to be a WiiU game that enters my list of favourite games of all time. If Zelda would make it, it isn't really WiiU's win anymore since it's not WiiU's game anymore. Therefore at the end there isn't much to identify the console with; hard to really say "That was the WiiU".

So a long story short, I feel the faceless, non-memorable game library is my biggest disappointment with it.

Maybe kind of a broad statement, and I could name a host of smaller, more specific, disappointments or even point at single games like you did, but to me at the end of the day it's the sum of things that matters most.

I actually like the gamepad, but whatever. Don't know why there is so much hate towards it.

Biggest disappointment would have to be the draughts. Hopefully they learned from this and have a bettet game plan for NX, and based on all their devs working on NX titles for a solid launch year, it seems like they may have.

Also I want less retro style games and more new gen titles. That was also where the WiiU fell short.
