Then Nintendo is dead to me.

1) My hope is still the family of devices that play the same games (cartridges), for the handheld and the home console.

or

2) A hybrid machine,  a tablet you can carry around (much bigger than the vita), that has a docking station, and can run as a homeconsole as well, once plugged into the docking station. Inside the docking station, it overclocks, fans start spinning to keep it cool, and you play the same games, but at higher resolutions.

I don't know PS4 is selling pretty well. I guess it's not that I'm scared perhaps, it's just that I wonder if Nintendo has learned their lesson with new ways to play. Wii U is disasterous. I'm nervous if they'll go down the same route being ignorant or if they'll blow us out of the water.

I'm predicting some sort of interactivity with smartphones. Cool I guess. I love my WiiU gamepad btw so I'm not too worried.

Uh, Iwata said that the NX is a new way of playing games in the past year guys. I don't know why the surprise.

If it s not a replacement for the Wii U, then why have they dropped sales forecast by 2.4 million from last year to 800k? Why did they quit making games for the wii u already (for all intent and purpose) Of course it is a replacement for the wii u- and it is pr speak- ii think Nintendo has said similar things previously about new generations of hardware-

My favorite part though is Kimishima saying the NX will be new!!! New hardware, new software!!
Has any NEW console released not been considered new? Have there been new consoles released that were made from used parts and old software? I just think it is funny that he said that

I think it's probaby a bad idea for Nintendo to try and reinvent the wheel again. Their hit to miss ratio is way too low and they simply haven't proven themselves to understand what gamers want.
