You should make me a database guardian since, ya know, I put my sweaty, bloody tears into making game pages (look at Uncharted) and rejecting bad entries.

Thanks ioi, we love this site and its getting better

Good work. Keeping the site fresh, and updating it regularly will serve to draw more attention to it.

Good updates, the games database really does need a lot of work and this should go a long way in fixing and then preventing duplicates.

Quick question, can we expect up to date data on games with either missing or outdated data?

You mean sales data, or other kinds of data, such as release dates?

Yay ... the site will be even better :)

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

As always ioi, you never cease to amaze me. This site just gets better and better. I wouldn't mind doing sales analysis articles (as I have done a few already), but I don't have to the time to invest in doing it regularly. And I usually write nice lengthy 20 page articles, which destroys most peoples interest in them. lol. Though 41 people have downloaded the one article I have in my sig. Hmmm.

Good job anyways. Keep up the great work!

Sounds great. The best/most popular sites find ways t oleverage theri community talent. This is a much better/different way of expanding than being more like the traditional game sties.

One thing that I suggest, and it merely because a lot of people whine about it is the game rating systems. I think you should have to be logged int ot rate a game and it should only let you rate a game once. Then you keep track of ratings on peoples pages and on the game pages. YOu Could look at someone's total ratings and see if they skew too far one way. It would be like gamerankingg or metacritic but each person on the site would be a review source. This traceability would discourage people from giving only 1s and 10s.

Also any game not released should have it's rating locked until it is released in one territory. Now that you have moe people involved in the database this can be implimented.

Keep up the great work,

Sounds good but also like a lot of work.

Yeah it is alot to ask, but if ioi wanted to silence all the jackanapes who pick on the rankings, and add at the same time a valuable and exciting tool. If this were implimented you could do amazing things with the information. But as you say it is a ton of work.

Another option is to have people vote on members of the week/month/year. They could be nominated by mods for contributions they make to database or news. Prize is VGC$ and massive bragging rights of course.

As for the hosers bitching about bundles sales........again....... There can be a note on a game database page in the description that mentions where/if it is bundled. Done and done.

Once again ioi you do great work.

Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

*naznatips is exempt
