I saw a post on Reddit a bit ago he was using a vertical stand and it posted a picture after taking it off and the dust vents on the bottom (where the stand goes) was full with dust, you should give it a check op. But i wouldnt worry too much mine did this with Block ops 3 and MGSV.

My Xbox One did that on the Titanfall beta. I was confused as to what the sound was.

I move it so it could get a little be more air.

Are you vents clean? and make sure nothing is blocking air flow.

My PC now works as a vertical mount, and a cooler for my PS4. As you can see in the picture below, there is still plenty of cool airway to flow.

Don't worry. I know that If I'm playing a game on my PC it might push warm air into my PS4, but my PS4 will be off, so nothing to worry about. This is brilliant!

My launch ps4 in 2013 which was clean and perfect would get that way during killzone shadow fall. I mean super loud. Other games would have a similar effect as well.

So after 2 1/2 years, I traded my launch model in last week and got the newer model that has the matte finish bay cover.

Haven't played it much but so far so good. *knocks on wood*

I notice this as well. My console only does this while playing 2 games: Uncharted 4 and The Last Of Us. It's Naughty Dog's fault lol.

Mine is fine but I was used to 360.

Look on the bright side, at least you have now a jet engine. Now all you need is the rest of the plane. XD

Happened to me when i was watching porn. Think my ps4 was joining in.

Not to sound like Captain Obvious, but this is a good factor that influences on why some PS4s tend to sound like hairdryers or jet engines. Over here, temperature is already on the high 80's, so that might explain why my console runs hot. Hell, if I walk past it I'll feel the heat coming out of it.

I've never experienced overheating or loud fan noises with my ps3 and ps4. I always give them a lot of breathing space.
