It needs to be a dev with stealth experience imo. So Arkane or Eidos Montreal would be ideal. Crystal Dynamics could work as well. It would be a difficult deal for MS to make since those are all owned by other publishers, but they managed to do it with Sega and Creative Assembly so you never know,

I know this won't be a popular choice after Homefront bombed, but what about Dambuster? It's kind of like the great grandchild of the studio that made the original Perfect Dark. And there's plenty of stealth action in Homefront.

ms conference is going to be epic. recore, gears 4 , sea of thieves. It's all about games, games, games with ms and it's going to be glorious.

Or 343i, The Coalition, Avalanche Studios, etc...

Well, Coalition is unproven - although I like what I saw in the Gears beta. I wouldn't trust 343 with the property, if I'm being honest. I feel like they've mismanaged Halo. Avalanche? Maybe, although Just Cause 3 was underwhelming.

343i gave us the freshest Halo in years, I would say since Halo 3. They're competent enough to give us the best campaign narrative in the series with Halo 4 and the best mp with Halo 5. They just gotta find the balance like everyone out there. Additionally, 343i has been expanding the Halo universe more than ever before, nurturing the property. They caught flak undeservingly because they attempted something new and Halo fans on forums are the worst to simply put it.

Anyway, I would trust Rod Fergusson more than any other studio to handle a 3rd person shooter. He's The creative director andexecutive prodeucer of the 3rd person shooter franchise with the best gameplay mechanic.

Perfect Dark has a lot of potential, for sure. But who would make it?

Hm, definitely not Rare. Lol. They'd probably have to outsource it to another dev if they were going to do it though.

Square Enix?

I thought the idea of Eidos making it sounds nice but it most likely wouldn't happen.

Then again MS is using Creative Assembly and they're owned by Sega =P

Yes! Thief was epic!

Garrett approves!

Also, why not 343. I really want to see 343 doing something not Chief...

Well, I'm still gonna doubt they talk about Scorpio in any capacity but I hope I'm wrong. Just confirm it exists and I'll be happy.

Fergusson is a stud, no doubt. I definitely trust him to deliver.

But I have to disagree about 343. That studio has been a poor caretaker of the Halo franchise. Halo 4 was a poor showing. The single player campaign had amazing graphics, but sub-par AI and level design. And the story was a melodramatic mess. Then there was multiplayer, which borrowed all the worst aspects of modern military shooters.

Halo 5 definitely improved on the multiplayer front. 343 deserves credit for Warzone, it's best contribution to the franchise - although I dislike the req system. But the single player campaign was probably the worst of the series. 343 fundamentally reorganized the way Halo plays, and not for the better.

The melodrama wasn't until the end of the game. I wouldn't call it a mess.

As for the AI, i don't see where the problem lies. maybe if you clarified abit it'll be obvious.

Halo had to evolve, that tank movement lent to Master Chief, wouldn't cut it anymore and Bungie showed it on Halo Reach (same movements but more refined).

Halo 5 single player is like any 2nd part of trilogy, cliffhanger and leaves viewers full of questions.

After Halo 4, Halo MCC, and Halo 5. I can say that 343 hasn't done a good job on Halo and the sales show that.
