Surprised people love Dice as much as they do after Battlefield 4 horrible launch bullshit. Guess casual fans are more forgiving.

You are right, the launch was absolutely abysmal, essentially unplayable. But the Battlefield franchise has not been ravaged by EA nearly as much as COD has by Activision. This will be the first true Battlefield in 3 years, whilst COD is spewed out yearly. BF4 has had solid support via patches, free DLC, weapons etc for it's entire duration, whilst COD is basically a 6-8 month game with shady DLC practices, locking new and over-powered weapons behind RNG-supply drops to incentivise paid microtranscations just for the CHANCE to win one. The nail in the coffin is COD going even further into the future and keeping the advanced movement system. The masses have made it clear they are tired of this and want to back 'boots on the ground' and contemporary weapons.
I commend EA(this time, they totally fucked people over with Battlefront which was essentially half a game unless you paid a ridiculous amount for the expansions) and Dice for being daring enough to go to World War era in a gaming landscape where future warfare is the norm now(Killzone, Gears of War, COD, etc). What is old, is new again. This entry to BF looks great graphically and conceptually. After BF4 was all patched up, it became an amazingly well made game. I'm very much looking forward to BF1.
