Craycray as fuck. I really hope AMD has something but them targeting "mid range" isn't exactly a good thing imo unless mid range is performance like that. We will see but at this rate, Nvidia is gonna continue to dominate which isn't really what I want since competition is good.

Great job Nvidia though! Blew my expectations away. RIP Tom though (if you watched the press conf, u would get it)

I hope he's ok... xD

So this is priced at $600? If that's the case is this the kind of power we can expect the PS5 to have if it releases in about 5 years?

misleading topic: "twice as fast as Titan X when using multi-projection to render VR", in normal flat-screen scenarios it's about as fast as SLI GTX 980, which is not 2x as fast as a single 980

Looks like I am waiting until Vega. :(

Also interesting that nVidia is now organizing it's Cuda cores similar to GCN cores, now to wait for Anandtech to do a break down.

In 5 years we should have 7nm~ GPU's.
I would expect probably even double the performance of even this.

Were you hoping for more power than this?

Still 9 teraflops in a single card is crazy.

Think about the PS4,... its 1.84?  thats just crazy.

5 PS4s duct-taped together. :P

GP104 is small die so maybe ?

Anyway a lot of high end PC gamers are waiting for the 500+ mm^2 beasts like the Pascal Titan's and Fiji's successor but damn it is psychological torture between buying this baby now or waiting for something much more powerful in the near future cause I need an upgrade BADLY ...

I'm definitely buying one of these cards. Which one will depend on the Australian launch prices. Probably $1000 for the 1080 and $550-600 for the 1070.

No pressure, here. Waiting on the new Titans.

Congrats to those who end up grabbing these.

Same

Hopefully, Pascal Titan goes back to being the Compute powerhouse that the original and black were.

600$? really? Also this thing will cost at least 700€ here in europe. I feel like PC gaming isnt afrordable anymore, i remember when you could have a GTX 280 for something like 300-350€, not 600€.

And some people think we're in the last console generation because we've supposedly hit a technological wall and that graphics can't possibly get much better than they are now. Suuuuure. With GPUs that totally outclass the PS4's likely being cheap enough to be in the PS5, there most certainly is room for another generation. There's so many areas where graphics could improve substantially.

not the games tough, you cant have any more jumps than Driveclub, FF15, U4 or Bloodborne

Im not a pc gamer cuz of the prices, but this seems tempting. ets wait and see what ps4 neo end up being and what amd has to show this summer. But if anything, that 1070 is very tempting.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.
