I want Zelda info, I got it coming at E3. For me this HUGE! So for me, E3 is very important for this alone!

E3 is the most important gaming event period.

Most major game announcements are made at E3. Enough said.

I love how the one year that Nintendo is only showing off a grand total of one game is when people are suddenly saying that E3 isn't important.

Goes to show how some people are in denial over the fact that Nintendo is in deep trouble.

Typical.

Look what E3 has done for Sony and Microsoft back in 2013, not to mention how people and media saw Sony's event last year. I'm not saying E3 was the sole responsible to launch them into first place, but they had a chance to speak to millions of people three years ago and look at them now. E3 can't be dismissed just because one thinks another show is the most superior.

Seriously, what's with the downplay about E3 ?

E3 is a dying venue. Within the next 2-3 years, it prob wont even exist anymore

Activision no booth
EA no booth
Disney no booth

i suspect many others will follow suit

E3 is basically the warm up for the US Holiday season. Where more video games are sold than all of the rest of the year combined. It also extends to many other countries.

So it's only important if you care about new video games, hardware and video game sales.

Plus it is in Los Angeles. Maybe you have heard it called things like "The Entertainment Capital of the World.' E3 is basically like the Oscars of Gaming with the Video Game Awards being more like the Golden Globes.

Gamescom? Only Microsoft and Ea had press-conferences, everyone else was at E3 or elsewhere.
