E3 is basically the warm up for the US Holiday season. Where more video games are sold than all of the rest of the year combined. It also extends to many other countries.
So it's only important if you care about new video games, hardware and video game sales.
Plus it is in Los Angeles. Maybe you have heard it called things like "The Entertainment Capital of the World.' E3 is basically like the Oscars of Gaming with the Video Game Awards being more like the Golden Globes.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned. Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon! |
