It's the equivalent to Sony saying "Thanks to our wonderful and loyal fans around the world, we're happy to announce that once again, PS4 is the best selling console this holiday season." Or Microsoft saying "Thanks to the enthusiam of gamers worldwide, Halo earned more money in it's opening weekend than Star Wars and broke the record for the most revenue at launch."
