I'm happy about this

(unless they turn out trash -_-)

The Fire Emblem game is like 50/50 chance of being either decent or bad. Animal Crossing is something designed for Mobiles, so I think it will remain decent.

True innovation!

Only thing I'm surprised about is how soon the games will be out.

What are the dates?

Both are 2016.

Oh, they might have been in the works for awhile now, it does seem a bit earlier. Hopefully Fire Emblem is decent, I really did like Conquest.

As I said multiple times before. jRPGs are perfectly playable on mobile. Great news. Wondering how they will price it.

Welp there you have it.

iPhone/Android now have a better 2016 Nintendo lineup for the rest of the year than the Wii U does, lol.

Now this is sad. But people never wanted to believe me everytime I told them how bad was the mismanagement in Nintendo this gen.

Yeah, FE could go either way but Animal Crossing should be at the very least decent. Either way, I'll be looking out for them out of curiosity

Animal Crossing was expected, but Fire Emblem? I mean, it can work on a mobile platform, sure, but I don't know if the audience is there.

Seriously? No audience for Fire Emblem? What isn't there an audience for on smartphones?

AC should be fine, but I worry for Fire Emblem

After Awakening, Nintendo has obviously been trying to milk the franchise with the new hype.. Making 2 separate games with a 3rd DLC path, crazy DLC just like Awakening and now a mobile game.. :/

I'm really interested to see what are they going to do with the fire emblem game.

I can't access the source, but if both apps are coming out in 2016, I'm a bit skeptical about Fire Emblem being a full length game. A port, spinoff, or companion app are more than feasible, but a new game within a year of Fates would honestly surprise me.

Animal Crossing is more likely to be a full game...but given how Miitomo turned out, I wouldn't be surprised if both games play more like companion apps rather than their respective IPs. We'll see though.
