Yeah, I'm in a similar boat, except that I have no interest in PS4.

After Wii U, I really have no desire to spend hundreds of dollars on another Nintendo console.

Sucks for Wii U owners, good news for me though. There are definitely some Wii U games I want to play but I sure as hell dont want to buy a Wii U with NX on the horizon. Specially when they are still $300!

As a Wii U owner, I don't see how it "sucks" for me.

Sorry pal, I didn't word it correctly. At this time I dont think either Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft have a clue what to do themselves anymore. I hope this industry doesnt over saturate itself with constant hardware revisions etc, money doesnt grow on trees and fans are starting to get priced out of the hobby.

Exactly. My copies of Xenoblade Chronicles X, Tropical Freeze, or Splatoon aren't going to spontaneously combust or become less fun just because they've been ported to another system.

no thats ridiculous, the entire Wii U library isnt getting ported to NX, its a select few titles.

lets say Smash Bros & Splatoon get ported to NX in 2016 & 2017, thats 2 years after the Wii U versions released, so the only people who should feel burned are the people who bought Wii U solely for those two games and would rather have waited to play them 2 years later.
