Kentucky, horse farms are common across rolling green hills and have the biggest horse race in the world with the Kentucky Derby.

I have never heard of a country called Kentucky? Where is this on the world map?

Good on you!! Though your PS vita obsession does get annoying sometimes.

Apparently saying the sentence above was flaming and against the rules even though it was a joke and I don't  know why,but I was warned by the mods

British Columbia, Canada. A great place to live but in the Lower Mainland, you will have to be willing to pay for it :(

United States of America
The greatest country on earth, the envy of the world and the leader of the free world it is our manifest destiny!!
God bless America.

No manifest destiny!! No leader of free world!!! USA is just the super power right now and it will fall one day sooner rather then later probably to China. Oh and as super power it has to interrupt every nation in every way and annoys the hell out of the people of the world how it does that. But its having its moment in the limelight and is enjoying it though bound to fall one day in the near future perhaps.

Food from your area would be one of the few things that would make me travel to the states one day. I like that kitchen a lot, mostly because it tastes very intensive while using mostly basic ingredients.

We Southerners do take a lot of pride in our cusine. If you ever find yourself in the Augusta area, check out Sconyer's Barbecue and Old MacDonald's Fish Camp. There's a lot of other good local eateries around here, but they're probably my two favorites and they have some of the most distinctively Southern food around here. I may not particularly care for the politics of most people around here (I'm one of the very few white male liberals around here), but the food is one of the biggest reasons why I'd never want to leave, the others being the climate, the low cost of living, and, y'know, the fact that everything I've ever known is here in the Augusta area. For better or for worse, it's home.

Surely must be a nice spot there. Southern food must be quite healthy as well, right? Lots of fish, beans, corn, rice, breads, all the good stuff.

Germany.

We lost 2 World Wars in the past, but now we finally reign over Europe. :o)

Our weapons somehow turn up in the terrorists hands we're fighting at the same time and no one is willing to take responsibility.

USA

and our weapons turn up in our various enemies hands (from drug cartells to country s) too-   But we know how they got there , our Governemnt delivered them for free and the bad guys did not even have to tip them upon delivery

Critisim not withstanding (and there are plenty) I still  love my country

Once progressive and liberal, now increasingly xenophobic and lame.

I'll miss our raw herring and meat croquettes when I move countries next month, but little else.

I don't miss the raw herring, the salmon is awesome in Canada.
Yet kroket or frikandel speciaal, along with some belgian fries, yum.

The United States. I live in the southeast part of the country (the Augusta, GA area to be specific) and we have great food (grits are amazing), warm weather 8-9 months out of the year, and a low cost of living if you keep away from big cities like Atlanta. Also, not all of us are living incarnations of a Jeff Foxworthy joke.

This is Augusta s week to shine-

And yes- TV/media usually introduce mostly fake over the top Southern accents to the world

I live in the SE US too
