Can't wait to see the reviews. Game looks like a gamecube game, shorter than an indie game and when you get used to controls it's over. Also it's in a dead system. A recipe for disaster. Metacritic will be fun to see.

Baiting 101.

To anyone reading this thread, please ignore whatever daredevil.shark has posted. Thread doesn't need to be dragged into a piss and shit flinging contest.

By all means feel free to criticise any and all aspects of a videogame, but posting just to rub people's noses in it and annoy other members is not going to be tolerated.

"Ok this game is now really a joke...
You pay $60 for this game (which looks like a Gamecube game) and it can be completed in 3h?
This can't be serious from Nintendo..."

Said it again, here is Star Fox GameCube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09NpZkLFRVk, now compare it to Star Fox Zero: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A04ZN4qA740. If you still say it look like a gamecube game then i think you should go to see doctor to check your eyes. Anyway, it was expected from a "sony real gamer"

Thanks, now I know that if the Gamecube Star Fox game had a better resolution it would look even better than the Wii U Star Fox game.

http://starfoxzero.nintendo.com/buy/   The standalone version is 50$

Digital versions of the Star Fox Zero game and the Star Fox Guard game will be available individually through Nintendo.com or Nintendo eShop. Star Fox Zero can be purchased for US$49.99 / CDN$64.99. Star Fox Guard can be purchased for US$14.99 / CDN$19.99.

So nice of them to throw in that "bonus" ... for an extra charge, with no option to buy a physical version separately.  Slick.

If you want the standalone version so badly you can get it digital on Usa and physicall and digital in the rest of the world, I'm sure you will be able to get  the standalone version physical on Usa at some point in time too. Now if you want to make a big deal about it, be my guess.

Fortunately, there are people in this thread and elsewhere hoping to play SF0 for the gameplay, not the visuals.

SF64 is all about chasing the next highest score meaning you'll be replaying the game practicing and optimizing every time, each time making use of different routes and such. That'll consume quite a bit of time, believe me.

...so is Umbrella Chronicles, and still, that one offers a higher playtime than StarFox Zero, if Gamexplain's report is accurate.

Gamexplain talks about 10 hours. That game you talk about is around 8.

Also I dont understand that comparison at all,  extremely different games, it makes way more sense to compare star fox with star fox.

Does Star Fox Zero has an Online Mode?
