What difference?

Difference? In the past.....

This show: always hypes, never delivers! Once, I mean once in awhile it delivers. It showed us reveal of bw2. Like the only thing I remember.

Corocoro: if they say they'll have info, they are going to have it. Corocoro said well get info this coming issue

From what I know, the TV show is a children's show, of course you can base it on seeing the kids battling and interacting on the show. Thus, its audience is not really meant for the hardcore. Even Joe Merrick of Serebii has stated that the show is usually prerecorded and is a children's show.

I know, they still get people hype for no reason 95% of the time :/

Yep, and it'll just be images of the logos and concept art pictures shown in the direct!

But seriously, has a mainline Pokemon game ever been shown off for the first time in a magazine? That's a more underwhelming way to do it compared to using video.

Ugh, sucha disappointment. It was cute in the beginning with all the merch and kid battling, but I was getting impatient. Then the big moment came, the same reveal trailer played, and... that was it!

THAT WAS IT.

The hosts asked like 3 questions, got a stupid answer, and talked about cars and that bird pokemon. THAT'S. IT.

I was expecting an extension of that reveal trailer, but that was the whole thing.

END ME NOW.

In the past, at least for me, the first I would see images of footage for mainline games are from CoroCoro, or hints of new Pokemon when they appear in the anime.

So basically you don't know. I should specify that I already know OR/AS, X/Y, and B2/W2 got video footage first, but I can't remember beyond that, though I think that's already enough to prove a trend. It really doesn't make any sense to pass up two chances to reveal the game in a video only to show it in a magazine just two weeks after the second video opportunity,

Not exactly, the TV show reported it was a reveal and only the ND trailer was shown and discussed, technically they're correct as it's the first it's been shown on TV but the's an element of baiting here from them.

Oh ok. Based on the dislike bar I can guess people were very dissapointed and the title was a bit misleading.

Actually it was a fake, the show only said that the devs would be there and it was assumed that there would have been gameplay.

Which I'd say people were right to, since how can you talk about nothingness especially while knowing people want somethingness unless you're crazy.

I didn't say people didn't have the right to expect footage but something like this happened with ORAS when people were told the devs would be there and took as confirmation that we would see new footage from the game since it was after the teaser, and all we got was another teaser with a small cutscene with Groundon and Kyogre that showed absolutly nothing and even with XY this same thing happened and all we got was the artwork for Mega Mewtwo Y while that was big since it was the first mega shown it wasn't the gameplay footage people "were promised" so with this beign the 3rd time in the last 3 games this happens people(and specially people like this youtuber since he made a livestream with a very misleading title) should have keep their expectations down.

Ah, so they have a history of being crazy.
