Here's a question to all the people claiming this is racism:
How would you have handled this incident differently?

Please change title, Muslims aren't a race. So it's discrimination not racism.
Muslim isn't a race, so no racism. Why is the woman doing the speaking for the family, not allowed in Islam. They got a later flight and lost no money. No person has a 'right' to fly to the US.

Its racism when they're targeted because how they looked, and muslim women are allowed to speak. What the hell are you even talking about?
If this happened to me I'd sue the airlines, suck them dry before the courts. It's normal in the US.
Donald Drump made a part of America very scared for brown people. Sooner or later the white people will have to face the reality that America is a multi cultural multi religious multi multi ethnic country. In a few decades the brown people will become majority in the US. The brown population in Europe will be tens of millions strong. Racists are a dying breed.

What does that look like? I'm pretty sure ANYBODY can blow a plane up. How many mass shootings are committed in America by white people? You don't even need to be a person to blow a plane up, just strap the bomb to an animal and remotely detonate it (obviously impossible because of security but you get what I'm trying to say... hopefully).

Is a white person incapable of turning an empty can of soda into a weapon? Is a black person incapabale of doing the same thing? This is on an airlines where a can of aluminum can be turned into a deadly weapon plain and simple.

Jet Blue and United, actually. They will give you the can. Having flown as recently as last November for Blizzcon, I can attest to this. The one thing I'd like to point out is, 2 examples of airline discrimination, does not necessarly indicate a 'rise' in anything. So, a citation on the increased frequency of cases would be needed, in order for the title of this thread (and article) to be anything but clickbait garbage.

See you are the kind of person that keeps racism alive.
A muslim family is escorted off a plane and given a different fight. Race, religion, ethnicity are never mentioned, but you post this topic crying biggotry just because the family happens to be muslim. You then say you would sue based on this little to no imperical evidence.
My friends, neighbors, and even somewhat boss are muslim. Hell my neighbors had their fucking cars vandalized, but when I asked them if they thought it was a hate crime- they flat out said no, it was a stupid teen and a coincidence that they are muslim. You on the other hand would probably report this to the media and call my city racist, just because of one fucking random incident.
Ps: they were right, it ended up being coincidental.
