What should Nintendo do? Also, what has GG done to her?

If you follow her on twitter just read the comments she was getting. I remember one screenshot, of one guy complaining to Nintendo, where she appeared next to a kid, complaining how was possible they would have a pedofile advocate close to children. Furthemore, they were posting addresses and phone number from her friends and family. People were harrasing her since she is very vocal on the things she believes.

She was fired for the nature of her second job, and seems she didnt complained at all, it looks like it was 100 justified. I do  not blame Nintendo on that one.

But I believe since Nintendo is always being a very diverse and welcoming place for women, they should talk to the police or authorities to talk to her female and or any possible targets of harrastment, and see what possibilities they have to prevent this things from happening again.

Again, I said unfortuately we do not know whether or not they did something. I hope they did, but if not, I hope this is a wake up call for all the videogame industry.

So, Nintendo should protect her just because she's a woman? Would you have said the same thing if she was a man.

As for posting addresses and phone numbers, that seems like the usual tactics of SJWs. They are known to harass people and their employers to get people fired. If you believe that it's ok to say the word fat, they will harass you, for example.

The whole thing seemed like a mess of nonsense. She had almost nothing to do with what people were angry about. But she replied to complaints in a really disrespectful way, so loads of people "went digging" and there was a lot to find and it's not at all surprising they ditched her. Nintendo cares massively about their kid-friendly image. She would've known that if they found about the escort stuff they'd fire her.

Just stupidity at every level though. 1) Try not to just blame problems on random people who work for a company, just because they say things you dislike.
2) Don't get a job in PR if you don't know how to interact with the public in a unantagonistic way.
3) If you're a hooker, or whatever she was, don't get a job for a kids toy company.
4) Everyone chill out and discuss the issues, instead of constantly making it about people.

What's the evidence of this?  There's a story that "someone is being harassed" nearly every day on the internet. Most of the time it's complete nonsense. They're not being harassed. They're being heavily criticized for saying something stupid and they can opt out of it at any second by blocking or muting people.

Most "online harassment" is just manufactured nonsense. Not all, but most.

Good to know that MOST of this site is full of sane posters like yourself. If this were NeoGAF, we would all be banned and this site would be a huge circlejerk of idiot SJWs.

18 as age of consent is ridiculous and retrograde.

Puberty is the biologic trigger for sexual activity desire, reproduction potential and libido development, and thus society rules should adapt to human biologic that precedes everything.

The moral conservative on this issues stems from archaic religions, patriarch and restriction of individual liberties that are the bane of our idiotic society.

So what should the law be? Once you hit puberty then fucking is fair game? That could be as young as 8-9 years old.

I dunno man, grown adults seducing people that age doesn't rub me the right way. It has nothing to do with religion or the patriarch, we just don't think people that young should be sexually involved at an age with little understanding of it.

Out of curiosity, what is a good age to begin drinking, smoking and doing hard drugs? Puberty?

Neogaf would ban all male users who have biceps if they had that information readily available.

I know, right? What ever happened to turning off your computer and doing something else?

"Online harassment" is just a lame excuse to absolve someone from his/her responsibility.

Yeah, neogaf is like the Sweden of video game communities.
