Look in the MyNintendo rewards. Those games coloured in silver (discounts, VC titles) could be purchased with Silver/Miitomo coins. Those coloured in gold could only be purchased with Gold Coins, which you can only get by buying eShop games.

EDIT: Well, there are some exceptions about the color, but you could get the picture :P

So I've got 470 Silver Coins, which is everything I could get without Miitomo. Just release the damn thing, Nintendo! I want that Picross! :)

So when you buy physical softwares you don't get gold points?

No, for now. I believe that with NX games a code will probably come with the game, since MyNintendo is more thinking about the future. And they'd have to pack a code with each WiiU game, which I don't think it's really worth it. I don't know about future WiiU games, but as for now all WiiU titles released before MyNintendo.

Got 480 platinum coins now. There's a little easter egg that lets you get 10 extra platinum coins. Just click the brick at the bottom of the page then keep on clicking your Mii.

Yeah! That's the way to go. I really wanted a reward system which actually gives you some benefits. Not just: "oh, look, I have a trophy!". I think Nintendo is going in the right direction. Let's hope they don't screw up in the future!

Yeah, I did it! :P. I laughed at my Mii being stupid on the screen.

EDIT: I find a new one! Click at the silver coin which is below the Silver coin box. You'll get 30 points! This is neat haha
