As far as AMD and DMP not suitable for a family of NX devices

Heterogeneous System Architecture (HSA) is a cross-vendor set of specifications that allow for the integration of central processing units and graphics processors on the same bus, with shared memory and tasks.[1] The HSA is being developed by the HSA Foundation, which includes (among many others) AMD and ARM. The platform's stated aim is to reduce communication latency between CPUs, GPUs and other compute devices, and make these various devices more compatible from a programmer's perspective,[2]:3[3] relieving the programmer of the task of planning the moving of data between devices' disjoint memories

Nintendo may be offering some type of tools that make the two versions easy.

I expect a key launch title to be the next 3D Mario, and I think it will be much like having 3D Land/World in one game. The main difference there was the visuals.

It will interesting to see if Ruby was legit and got shutdown by Nintendo Ninjas or a fraud that deleted her own account to create the impression of legitimacy.

System NX is well 2 consoles, a portable and a home console.

The portable will be close to Vita for the power. Will have its own games. Look like a smartphone with pad detachable...

The home console will be close to a ps4, but we will be able to also play with the games of the portable, home console will have a CPU x86 and a gpu amd, but also a ARM to ensure compatibility with the games portable.

Nintendo will replace the touch screen of the portable by the aiming system of Wiimote for the home console (intégred in pad detachable) .

Handheld device + pad detachable sold 149 dollars.

Home console + pad detachable sold 299 dollars

Bundle: home console + pad detachable + handheld device sold 399 dollars

The gimmick will be a Community system of cloud using the home console to keep the online without month's subscription and to propose games massively multiplayer online (as well for the games portable as the games home console …)

So people could take only HC or only HH, or both together, but features between them going to do that à lots take bundle...

Guess that kinda sounds reasonable, and it's what I was postulating like a year ago or something. Two different consoles that can work with each other and that features similar/shared tech.

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

guys
i think sega and nintendo are working together
and nx is actually the code name for sega dreamcast 2

Seems the rumour of the reps being called in for training has some substance, this would mean the March launch is still on course, before Ruby got shut down they mentioned demo units were due to be in stores around mid February.

Do you have a secondary source of the reps being trained other than Ruby? s far as I can tell from what you just said, there needn't be a correlation between what Ruby said and what umegames stated in his thread regarding the reps.

New rumor from the french site Gameblog, this article/video, translated by NeoGaf.

- He says he's only sharing stuff multiple sources have confirmed
- "Sure about 20 games in development"
- Their sources are currently developing on the platform and have devkits
- "You'll be able to verify these leaks very soon" but not aware of the actual reveal date
- Nintendo hasn't shared all of the NX "gimmicks" with their dev yet
- Hybrid confirmed but not the only "surprise"
- He's been confirmed there are detachable controllers
- No real dock where you plug the handheld, but a wireless 'dongle' upscaling for the TV
- Handheld game is the same as the "docked" game
- Games look good on the handheld screen (780 - 900p), about PS4 level
- Ports should be easy despite the different architecture
- Very positive feedback on the dev tools
- Breath of the Wild looks nicer on NX (duh)
- Smartphone connectivity maybe possible
- VR not out of the question but first tests aren't satisfying.
- Lots of remasters planned (Skyward Sword, MK8, Splatoon, Smash, N64 and Wii games)
- FFXV and FFVII Remake are coming to NX
- Platinum Games and Capcom are in
- Ubisoft in (BG&E 2 discussed but not confirmed, Splinter Cell and a Yoshi / Rabbid Rabbits crossover being discussed too)

Feel free to agree or disagree with this rumor.

Think you misread the post as the reps part wasn't from Ruby, someone else in the thread in retail was told the same thing by a rep where they were as well as on a few other boards I go to.
