New freeban - new spam ;)

The Mod "CGI-Quality" just wanted to proove his intelligence once again.

He banned me "Hadoram" (http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/145135/hadoram/) for creating an Alt called Hadoram2 some weeks ago.

Funny thing is, hadoram was already banned for creating an Alt some weeks ago for 2 weeks.

So he banned hadoram 2x for the same "misbehaviour".

Very nice action to prove your incompetence @CGI-Quality! ;)

I really just cant believe how bad this mod team is. This is ridiculous.

But there's nothing to be "concerned" about.  You just leave them attached if it's not enhancing the game play.  If the NX is connected to the TV, it will most likely be using something like the Pro Controller and/or Wii Remote.  But this system needs to cater to the DS crowd as well - moreso really - and those gamers typcially play at home in a room, on a couch, or in other venues.  For these uses, Nintendo clearly sees a novel use for having the ability to remove the inputs.

Removal of side controls could also be centered around something else entirely.  Perhaps they want the system to go "full tablet" under some circumstances if the user just wants a tablet and not a true gaming system at times.  Or perhaps it is in connection with the recent pattent that showed various types of inputs being used and interchanged, such as buttons, analogue sticks, d-pads and NFC readers.  Perhaps it's not about using the controls detatched, but more about being able to "attach" changing methods of input.

Sorry but I still don't see any advantage. The only use I can see (more or less) is if the two controllers are like the two halves of a Pro controller and can be connected together to form a Pro controller to play on the TV. But that would make the design of the device with the controllers kind of odd.

And about having interchangeable bits... God, please no! Not only will they be selling Amiibo, but also gamepad add-ons?

*shudders*

what about if the two detachable controllers act as a Wi Remote+Nunchuk type of controller.

Have you tried using the Wii U gamepad only to play Wii games? You have to be too far away from the Gamepad to not hit it, and at the same time the screen is too small to make it enjoyable.

Also, the point of wiimote & nunchuk was being able to send to motion signals. How are we going to do that with the two controllers attached to the device? Because the games will have to work with them or without them.

That is, if motion controls are used. Because if they aren't, what's the point of having the controller split in half? Even some Wii games without motions controls came with a Classic Controller as it was more comfortable in the long run than the Wiimote&Nunchuck combo.

Please excuse my bad English.

I think you are misunderstanding me, what i mean is that the two controllers detach and are used when the screen is in the dock and playing on the TV. Obviously the point of detachable controllers is for playing on the TV.

If the point of the detachable controllers is to use them at home while playing in the TV, why bother making them instead of going the easiest route of bundling a Pro Controller?

What company are we talking about?

I believe the purpose is so that you have the ideal controller whether you're on the go or on the TV. There'll be two sets of detachable controllers, one for portable use (thin, circle pads) and one for home use (grips, sticks). Another idea people have brought up is local multiplayer on the go, but I don't see how that'd work with each player only using half a controller, certainly can't play Smash or Mario Kart with that set-up, and splitscreen on an already small screen seems impractical.

Well looks like gameblog.fr rumor is looking more legit since they got the date and location of the reveal of the Neo unless the PS event next month is not for the Neo.

I wonder if PS4 level power if non portable side of things if true.
