If this is the real thing, it will NOT work, and I will NOT like it... nor buy it. Which is a first because I've been buying Nintendo consoles and handhelds since 1986. Just a sad, sad day for me.

Just... stop lol. If this is the real controller, it's fucking TOUCH controls from here on out. And we've all tried playing games on our iPhones and Android devices. It doesn't work for core gaming. Nintendo is not going to solve the issue.

Now hold on just a second there, there is still hope, hold on. Since the controller is just a watered down gamepad, that means the gamepad should be fully compatible. At the very least, they should have a classic controller/pro controller equivalent. I mean the Wii was able to use GCN controllers and the Wii U used Wii controllers so I think it's safe to say the NX will be similar in that regard.
Sorry, I'm just not sold on this type of controller, at the present time. I don't mind the Wii U gamepad because it has actual physical buttons. I have tried to play games on my cellphone that has buttons on the screen and it just didn't go over well with me, no matter how long I gave it a chance. I'm really hoping this isn't the new NX controller and just a rumor.

I'd probably buy anything that Nintendo makes, but still, the idea of on-screen buttons is terrible, works really bad on ios and android games
seriously, a next-gen wiimote would be so much better

I agree with this guy pretty much...but that weird screen and virtual buttons would still suck.
Playing Xenoblade 2 before I buy Xenoblade 3 (otherwise I couldn't wait to play 3).
Can they announce a new Fire Emblem? A remake of Genealogy or Tellius would suffice !
