That's terrible! D: It's good that she's fine though. It's unfortunate she won't be able to continue the manga for the time being.

I'm about 10 chapters into Pokemon Adventures. It's okay so far...though Red is kind of annoying. It seems like every one of his Pokemon randomly knows incredibly high tier moves right away, and he keeps winning fights that should be way out of his league. I still don't get how his Pikachu defeated Brock's Onix with a single electric attack. That makes no sense!  

Maybe just because it's a recent manga I read, but Red reminds me a lot of Souma from Food Wars so far. It seems like side characters will lose, improve, and grow as the story progresses...while the MC just seems to win non-stop with plot convenient attacks and situations. I don't expect him to look weak constantly, but some character growth would be nice.

Anyways, Red stuff aside, it's not all bad. Misty is fun, and I like seeing the bond grow between Red and his team. Team Rocket is much more intriguing this time around...especially knowing that Koga appears to be a member. Lt. Surge seems to be up to something as well. I wonder if this will be a theme with the remaining gym leaders, with Giovanni, that's three villains among the eight.  

These are my thoughts so far. Parts have annoyed me, but I'm intrigued by certain plot points enough to keep reading. I just hope some of my concerns are placated as the story goes on.

I'm in chapter 7 of Ballroom e Youkoso and there is finally someone near the same level as the protagonist.  I would imagine that he would feel relieved to be around someone who isn't a top level dancer but he has serious style issues with this girl.  They're like polar opposites in terms of the way they dance.  I wonder if it's going to work out?  It seems finding a partner at the same level is difficult.  

They don't have a lot of confidence at this point.

New bleach was so good, I got chills with the small flashback scene. There was also "that guy" ugh, he won't stay down.

Maybe I'll jinx it again by saying it, but it looks like spoilers and scans are out for Jump releases. I've already read a few spoiler summaries, and so I imagine more popular series will get updates soon. *knocks on wood*

I don't think anyone else did, I just was bored of Yamada-kun and wanted something new to read. Just figured I'd post my thoughts already, and wait for everyone else to start.

Also, it seems like the Pokemon Adventures manga has 14 chapters/volume. Not sure if anyone wants to adjust the reading schedule...the chapters are short so I don't really mind either way.

Don't worry, both Blue and I have read it before, but are going through it again to see if our opinions on the manga has changed :p

It's so funny seeing Luffy and company struggle in the ship, but that's not their worst problem (also, Luffy gets another "food-related ability": immunity to poison :P)

OMG we are finally going to meet Germa 66 and one of Sanji's brothers, I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately One Piece will be on break next week, but knowing Oda I'm not surprised :P
