Just got home with the game in my possession, will play it as soon as I finish eating! Gonna start with Braixen and after I beat the first level of the league mode I'll be willing to go online if anyone wants to battle.

Finally came back from school with the game, I'm gonna practice with some characters for a while before playing online, but if anyone wants to play let me know.

Had to cut my session short due to the Splatfest, but still spent enough to where I think I'm getting the hang of things. Using the D-pad for 3D movement hasn't been as bad as I thought, that was my main worry, so now I'm just glad the thing is actually being used! The right stick was the same until Splatoon came along, so now my gamepad is finally being used to it's fullest! xD

But anyway, I'm really liking the game so far! Braixen has been uber fun, the league is really easy but still very enjoyable, and the online works very smoothly and provides a very good challenge as you'd expect. I only have a 50% winrate afterall, but tbh that's much better than how I thought I'd do! There is just one downer though. Unfortunately, Pachirisu seems far too situational, doesn't last long, and has a slow charge time, so I greatly regret to say that I quickly stopped using him. <(T_T<)

I'm so sorry! Please forgive meh! D:

Lol R.I.P pachirisu

But yeah the online is pretty good, I love how fast it is to get into a match. While I'm still not sure who am I going to main I narrowed my picks to three, Sceptile, Braixen and Gardevoir (maybe I'll try to use the three efficiently because of matchups.)

Naw he still shines for me in every other Pokemon game!

I haven't even tried anyone else yet lel. I figured it'd be best to stick with one while I come to grasp how the game works. What's your favorite stage? Mine's gotta be Mystery Carnival for having both awesome looks and awesome music!

As far as stages go I have to pick Phos Volcano and the fan favorite Magikarp festival.

Just FYI, you can use the left stick if you prefer for movement.  I do :P

Yeah but movement is still limited to 8 directions so I may aswell use the D-pad, I think it helps have cleaner inputs.
