About a decade late to the party, but still good news for those who have wanted it. Personally, I couldn't care less about achievements and trophies, they actually annoy me with their pop-up's and nagging.

Probably not. My Nintendo is forming the core of NX. Missions are it.

For now this "achievements" are all actions outside of videogames (connect your account to this, purchase that amount of games, get a lot of friends...). Have they announced any kind of actual videogame achievements? And if they have, do they include pre-MyNintendo games, or those won't get MyNintendo missions?

Missions are game achievements. Nintendo already confirmed that they'd work starting with NX, so no 3DS or Wii U games.

As for if it can be track, it seems like no. The was this works is a lot different than regular achievements, since this allows for repeatedly getting the same achievement, meaning there would be no point in tracking.

The confirmed that it would be used in NX games months ago. They specifically said it wouldn't start until NX. Someone needs to find the quote and add it to the OP. This is old news.
