Not fair comparison, GTA is like the biggest selling franchise of all time lol

i was replying to "it's not popular". i said it is popular. i didn't say it was a mega hitter, because it's not. but it's definitely popular on handheld. 

ps4 is doing very good compared to the ps3. considering the market is now dead this is an amazing achievement. 

i suspect this is probaby the first week minecraft outsold the combined SKUs of DQB but PS3/4 versions aren't charting anymore.

And X1 at less than 100? it's time to discontinue in Japan, give those 100 sales to Nintendo and Sony lol They can take 50 each :P

Lets not pretend western games don't sell anymore in Japan, the big budget ones usual do pretty decent and sometimes quite good. GTA5 on PS3 nearly sold a million, the ps3 has like 2 million sellers in japan.

Holy crap that's a terrible first week for Summon Night 6. I thought it was going to be at like 80k combined but yikes it didn't even reach 60k.

It looks like Attack on Titan and even Kancolle Kai are having better legs than I expected. I would have thought both would have been out of the top 20 by now. Heck even Dragon Quest Builders is showing some legs or at the very least it's holding a bit better than most Vita games 7 weeks in.

Minecraft continues to be the king of legs, next week it will be one year since it's been charting. I though that once it reached 500k it's stop selling but here we are. Also if anyone's interested it looks like Minecraft has pass 1 million if we combine Media Create with it's digital estimates.

Even if small, kancolle & dragon quest showing some legs :o also it would be cool if these included ltd figures for every console, I mean they don't sell that much per week to make a significant difference.. but still

No, you're not looking at the big picture.

Last year March was huge. There were more, much bigger games on PS4, so sales jumped that month because every week there were 1-2 big games coming out.

However, PS4 came from a much lower base in January. Its lowest week was 12k, which gave us a hint of were the sales baseline would end up after the big games came out.

This year, the PS4 has been much more stable, and its lowest week in January was 25k. Actually, March sales are not very different to January sales, whereas last year the gap was huge.

So no, PS4 sales will not go down to 10k, let alone below that.
