Why would there be eye strain? Due to the optics in the headsets your eyes focus just like they would normally.

As long as it's projecting a 2D image.
With VR games you have the same vergence accomodation conflict as with 3D glasses. The stereo image tricks you into believing the object is closer than where it is projected, which causes eye strain as your eyes have to battle the urge to focus where your brain thinks the object is. Some safeguards may be in place to make objects fade out if you get too close.

But i thought that the image projection happens milimeters from your eyes no? Isn't the screen right ontop of you? Wouldn't it only be a problem if you literally put your face into it?

I'm still a bit concerned about the motion sickness. Other then that i'm in.

That's the reason why 90 % people play games on 3DS without 3D

Will PSVR games come boxed or be digital? If boxed, I'm kinda curious how the boxes will look like if ps4 style or a bit different.

NO! First I want to see if Sony supports this even when it's not successful. How they handled the PlayStation Vita was horrible!

$400 is quite a lot of dough, but as long as I sell my PS4 I should be able to afford it.

Awesome :D

No but I have with other girlfriends. For me, it helps the relationship a great deal if a girlfriend has a least one hobby she can do at the house like reading, painting or playing video games w/o me, etc. It gives us enough alone time to miss eachother even when we're around eachother all the time. I don't need that much time alone everyday or every other day but it helps to have some hobbies that don't involve the SO. Personally, I can't stand clingy women that want my undivided attention all the time when I'm around her.

People already miss their partner while working. You spend most of your waking hours away at work, exercising, etc. and the little time that you have together you want to completely shut them out of your life? Imagine gaming for 2 hours in the evening without interacting with your SO when you only have 3 free hours after work.

And nobody is talking about doing everything together - I know you're going to extremes and using words like clingy, attention, etc. because you're trying to prove a point.

Then i'd say videogaming in general is not for you.
