I played an Oculus Rift demo of a roller coaster that looked really bad graphically and it wasnt great at all, (the oculus rift was also one of the earlier versions, not close to being the final one) however that thing despite all of that still gave me vertigo, and if that was able to make me feel like that, then im on board for a finish vr product.
IM REALLY EXCITED TO PLAY THIS GAME ON VR
(if the video doesnt show up, im talking about Trackmania Turbo which seems like a huge adrenaline rush, just the type of game i want on VR).
Mmmm...Okay, if this is really like this, i would like to try it, i'm kinda curious about it.
It is, thats actual gameplay, the stages can be randomized and created by the user too (of course there are default tracks as well), and men does it look great imagine playing that in VR from the cockpit view... im so in for this.
Here is an escencial video for anyone who is interested

Hell Yeah! Trackmania Turbo looks awesome!
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
Yes...just not right away. I got burned on PS Move and as much as I like the concept of VR, i want ACTUAL games, not collections of minigames. Once those games start to release, i'll jump on it, discount or not. A good horror game would definitely make me insta buy it, though.

How do you play games now? Does she watch you play? I play games in a different room, whether I wear a headset won't make any difference. I won't be using the headphones though, don't use them now either. I can hear through walls (and the baby monitor) can't see through them :p
She does her own stuff like watch TV shows or read while I'm playing but we are still able to talk or quickly interrupt our activities for whatever reason. An example - she's helping her nephew with some maths problem via Skype. She can easily ask me to come over if she wants to confirm something. How does that work with VR?
But what you're saying is that you'll forgo the complete VR experience (headphones) to not be completely cut out from your family. You cannot afford to be completely immersed especially with a baby.
The complete VR experience would be a holodeck :) Anyway my speakers will certainly sound better than those ear buds but maybe you can patch the microphone on the ps eye camera through to the sound mix. Then you can still hear what's going on around you. I don't know what my kids did yet when the ps4 camera is connected when they're playing Minecraft in splitscreen, it echo's everything they're saying over the speakers, so it's possible lol. The headset isn't glued to your face so you can simply take it off for a moment when someone wants your attention.

What you said, but I was smart enough to know what the PS Move was going to be.
