She does her own stuff like watch TV shows or read while I'm playing but we are still able to talk or quickly interrupt our activities for whatever reason. An example - she's helping her nephew with some maths problem via Skype. She can easily ask me to come over if she wants to confirm something. How does that work with VR?
But what you're saying is that you'll forgo the complete VR experience (headphones) to not be completely cut out from your family. You cannot afford to be completely immersed especially with a baby. |
The complete VR experience would be a holodeck :)
Anyway my speakers will certainly sound better than those ear buds but maybe you can patch the microphone on the ps eye camera through to the sound mix. Then you can still hear what's going on around you. I don't know what my kids did yet when the ps4 camera is connected when they're playing Minecraft in splitscreen, it echo's everything they're saying over the speakers, so it's possible lol.
The headset isn't glued to your face so you can simply take it off for a moment when someone wants your attention.
