Forums - Movies & TV - OH MAH GAHD IS SPEDERHUMAN , CIVIL WAR TRAILER

The whole Civil War thing becomes a lot more complicated and interesting with mutants in the mix. But since the X-men can't be part of the MCU things become a little bit anaemic.

The really interesting thing with mutants in the mix is exploring the difference between registration of all mutants (akin to registration of Jews in Nazi germany) and the regulation and oversight of a paramilitary organisation (The Avengers) and people who actively pursue a quasi policing civil role. And how to weed out the criminal elements from a powered up demographic. Without a minority social group as part of the problem, merely regulating self appointed heroes (now that SHIELD is defunct) and catching some rogue powered individuals (aka Bucky Barnes) becomes quite an empty and one dimensional matter.

Should the Avengers and associated powered individuals come under government oversight? That's not even a question. Absolutely they should. Should Bucky Barnes be brought to justice for his crimes? Totally man, though at the same time there should be recognition that he was not in control of his actions, and thus lenience should be given. Unless there are other issues that are brought up in the movie, like if they bring the inHumans into the mix as the mutant registration elemen, the issues are pretty much black and white.

Spider-man looks great! I love the old-school outfit. Give me more of that!

Besides Spiderman I never heard of the other two. Will be fun to see what they can do.

Black Panther running a motorcycle down and brushing off gun fire to his suit gives an idea.

Crossbones is only villain we've seen yet (Baron Zemo is supposed to be here too) and have to wonder how they'll handle his role from the comics to this adaptation.

It's such an amazing Spider-Man outfit. Best one in film, from its looks so far. I think that going with a younger Spider-Man was an excellent choice, as opposed to going with someone pushing their 30's. The dynamic is definitely going to be very interesting, seeing as how they won't get to make him graduate from high school within the first to second movie.

High school Spidey is will make things more unique.

And it is this depth that will be lacking in the film unfortunately.

Spider-Man might as well have been called Red Lantern with a suit like that. I don't like the red either - it looks like the costume from the old TV show. And what's with the black bands? Worse one in the movies so far.

Looks like pussy ass melodramatic crap to me.

Anybody else with a brain miss the days of Blade and The Crow, you know when comic book movies were gritty and badass???

Cool, but he does have a childish voice. Why is spiderman constantly beeing reset into a teenager? It's very unnappealing. Maguire is still the best spiderman.

No is the correct answer. Not everything has to be dark and gritty. They ruined superman with their dark and gritty by creating the abomination that is Emo Dragon Ball Z Man of Steel Man film. Ugh
