 Again, you seem to think that the Wii is somehow magic and not affected by industry woes. Even last summer, in its first full ww year with a lot less production it failed to sell out in the slow summer months.

I'm not surprised you answered me, and I find it comical that you believe you have prophet powers and can see things that others clearly admit they can't. Beliveing something or thinking or feeling something is one way of wording, but stating your every sentence as fact makes you look somewhat foolish to be honest. Its also quite sad that every nickle and dime you own rides solely on one game, a game that costs almost twice as much as others.

Why is it you can't stand to see someone believe differently? You were a lot more balanced before, even JL and A_T are more balanced now. 

Thank you for actually using sales numbers to support your opinion. If it now were based even more on vgchartz numbers, and considering important seasonal effects, then the answer would be very interesting.

I am always surprised how few members actually use sales data in sales related topics. Even if Reggie says so.... 

i could not walk into a store last summer here in the US and expect to find a Wii in stock...i could get to a store within an hour of wiis being on shelf and grab one, but i couldn't walk in at a random time and find one

i consider that to be sold out...when all wiis sell the day they are put on the shelf, they are sold out

and i've stated many times that i believe wii would sell all 2008-produced wiis by 12/31/08 even if wii fit/mario kart/brawl weren't coming out, so i am not betting solely on wii fit

wii fit is just going to make the demand even more insane than it already is

perhaps i simply have a different perspective than u since i had to get to best buy 5 hours early a few sundays ago to get a wii and i can still make $75/wii on craigslist during March 16 months after launch..and i get multiple calls every day, even when the ads are a month old

Predicting it at this point is largely futile, thanks to the fact that we don't know how much production is being hiked up for the next fiscal year. Nintendo's US branch head honcho did say it'll be around the mid-point of the year, but that could just as easily have been a misunderstanding or a spur-of-the-moment declaration with no plans to back it up. In practical terms, they'd have to massively up shipments to the US to break the 1.43 million unit gap in only 9 to 13 weeks' time (which would be the timeframe Reggie was predicting). We're talking doubled shipment sizes, possibly even larger. It is possible, but again, how can we know without knowing how big the production hike for the new fiscal year is?

By the end of this Summer......Unless Nintendo stops shipping Wiis tommorow...
