Predicting it at this point is largely futile, thanks to the fact that we don't know how much production is being hiked up for the next fiscal year. Nintendo's US branch head honcho did say it'll be around the mid-point of the year, but that could just as easily have been a misunderstanding or a spur-of-the-moment declaration with no plans to back it up. In practical terms, they'd have to massively up shipments to the US to break the 1.43 million unit gap in only 9 to 13 weeks' time (which would be the timeframe Reggie was predicting). We're talking doubled shipment sizes, possibly even larger. It is possible, but again, how can we know without knowing how big the production hike for the new fiscal year is?
