No, I wouldn't pay. The ads have gotten significantly worse recently, and so I find myself coming here less. The banner ads at the top used to only expand to take up the whole screen if I hovered my mouse over them; now they expand whenever they feel like it. The ads never used to be overlayed on top of content; now there are ads that come out of the right side of the screen that cover part of the page--every SINGLE page--that have to be "hidden," and many articles now have that unimaginably annoying type of ad that pops up from the bottom of every picture in the article to cover the bottom 1/4 of the picture unless "hidden." Seriously, how is anyone supposed to enjoy a website like that?
I totally get that websites need ad revenue, but ads that expand on their own, play video/sound on their own, or cover up content drive away traffic, which I would imagine cuts into the revenue. Like I said, I already come here less, and I often ask myself why I bother at all anymore because it's so hard to enjoy anything.
